I’m LJ, a personal trainer and female strength training advocate. I’m a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer, fully insured. I’ve been lifting weights for a decade, starting my journey in London, then Los Angeles and back home to the UK to put down some roots in Lincolnshire.
As a mum of two, I understand the struggle of balancing health and a busy life, which is why I'm passionate about helping women focus on themselves and find their strength.
For years, I jumped from one fitness fad to another without lasting results. I tried everything from endless cardio to rave trampoline classes, none of it brought me joy or success. Everything changed in 2014 when I started weightlifting and discovered I could lift heavy weights, like really really heavy weights. This led me to Powerlifting and I became the Greater London Powerlifting Champion that year.
This all ground to a halt when I had my kids and the challenges of juggling motherhood and a full time career took over. My fitness was inconsistent and felt more like a chore. Two years ago, I decided to prioritise myself again, returning to strength training and making consistent progress through small steps each day. Now, I find joy in workouts I love, and have qualified as a Personal Trainer in the hope to share my passion for living a healthy, strong life.
I know life can feel overwhelming, but making time for yourself is essential. My aim is to help women embrace strength training, realise their potential, and put themselves first. Women are stronger than they think, and I'm here to show you just how powerful you can be!
